The Klauser Family has been happy to be your host in Damülser Hof since 1963. You never have to look for us for very long, you will always find us somewhere in the hotel. Everyone is passionate about what they do, and it is very important for us that our guests feel comfortable and to fully enjoy their holiday in Vorarlberg. That is why we work together with our team not only to meet your expectations, but also to exceed them.
You will always find one of us personally at the hotel. Because we believe that it is the encounters with people that give life its meaning.
Damülser Hof is a place with deep roots. Wilhelm Klauser was born in Au in Bregenzerwald. He became a builder and later moved from Lustenau, where he operated his construction business and to be closer to where he was born. Together with his wife Josefa, he opened a hotel with 40 beds in 1963. Their four children started helping from a young age, and in 1990, their son Heribert took over the family business. Up to this day he and his wife Andrea continue to put a lot of energy and lifeblood into the hotel.
Damülser Hof has grown again and again over the years. High quality and the fulfilment of guests' expectations have been the family's most important principles from the very beginning. The two children, Julia and Christoph, were also born to be hosts. Christoph is now not only passionate about running the kitchen, but has also taken over the business from his parents and, together with his wife Lena and the support of the parents, is now continuing the tradition.
We handle our natural resources with care, stay true to our values and are driven by the love we have for our work. Tradition and innovation, experience and a younger point of view go hand in hand – something that is close to our hearts.
