The Klauser Family has been happy to be your host in Damülser Hof since 1963. You never have to look for us for very long, you will always find us somewhere in the hotel. Everyone is passionate about what they do, and it is very important for us that our guests feel comfortable and to fully enjoy their holiday in Vorarlberg. That is why we work together with our team not only to meet your expectations, but also to exceed them.
You will always find one of us personally at the hotel. Because we believe that it is the encounters with people that give life its meaning.
The Damülser Hof – a hotel with history and heart. Deeply rooted in the region, its journey began with master builder Wilhelm Klauser, who was born in Au in the Bregenzerwald. After years in Lustenau, where he ran his construction business, he was drawn back to his roots. Together with his wife Josefa, he fulfilled a dream in 1963 in Damüls: the opening of a hotel with 40 beds. The four children pitched in early on and grew up in the family business. In 1990, son Heribert took over the reins and, together with his wife Andrea, led the house into the future with a great deal of dedication and passion.
Over the years, the Damülser Hof has continued to develop without forgetting its roots. Right from the start, the focus has been on quality and the well-being of the guests – a principle that still characterizes the family's philosophy today. The next generation is also deeply committed to hospitality: son Christoph took over the business from his parents in 2024. He runs the kitchen and manages the hotel together with his wife Lena with great dedication. They can always count on the valuable support of Andrea and Heribert.
The Damülser Hof combines tradition and innovation in a unique way. The family is committed to the careful use of natural resources, remaining true to its values while also having the courage to break new ground.
